Not my finest moment.

WHERE: Yellowstone National Park
WHEN: June 1993
WITH: Family + Mark Bromley
WHY: We went on our way home from my cousin's wedding in Utah.

MEMORIES:
-Seeing buffalo.

-The Glenns were also at Yellowstone at this time; my older siblings went to go see my cousins but they wouldn't let me come.  I was so mad.
-I was also mad because Diana was sick and got all this extra attention.  So my mom, which was very kind of her, took me to the store to let me get a treat or a toy or something.  She asked if we could maybe get something for Diana, and I promptly responded, "No!"
-I remember Diana ordering a Shirley Temple at the restaurant and throwing it up later.

That was our new van!

"You match the tablecloths!"

WHERE: Salt Lake City, Utah
WHEN: June 1993
WITH: Family + Mark Bromley
WHY: My cousin LeAnne's wedding

MEMORIES:
-Family pictures with my dad's side of the family.
-Mark Bromley came to visit us that summer.  Kim stayed with his family when she visited Australia, so then he came to visit us.  I thought he was soooo cute.  Especially with that accent!
-All the cousins had matching pink floral dresses for the wedding.  Diana and I wore white straw hats (I was particularly excited about this).
-Someone during the wedding reception told Kim, "Oh, look - you match the tablecloths!"  It was a lot of pink.
-I think Diana and I had the job of taking presents at the reception.  There was a fountain near where we were; I was playing with my hat, and it fell in the water and became warped.  I was pretty sad.

Cousins + Mark.  What did I tell you - isn't he dreamy?  :)

Finally learned...

WHERE: Bend, Oregon
WHEN: April 1993
WITH: Family
WHY: Vacation

MEMORIES:
-We stayed at the Inn of the 7th Mountain.  They had a craft time for children in the morning at the main building; I loved it.  I specifically remember making those plastic bead things where you made a pattern/shape and then you had to iron it so it would stay together.
-This is where I solidly learned how to ride a bike.  Sad, huh?  I was 7, almost 8.  I should have learned by then, right?  I blame the fact that we lived on a gravel road and that was hard to ride on, so I didn't really get the hang of it.  Guess it was all that paved parking lot...
