Meeting Dane

WHY: Dane's blessing.

MEMORIES:
-I drove Grandpa and myself up from Utah.
-Taking the boys to the water park.
-Gage really wanted to light the fireworks but it wasn't dark yet.  He asked my dad, "Papa, can you make the sun go down?" Dad said, "No, only Heavenly Father can do that."  Minutes later we found Gage on the side of the house praying for it to get dark soon :)

Grandpa gave all his great grandkids harmonicas...

Mother's Day hike.

WHERE: Columbia River Gorge, Washington-side (Catherine Creek trail)

WHY: Mom wanted to go for her Mother's Day gift.

Memories:
-There were supposed to be a lot of wildflowers, but they weren't really in bloom.
-We ate at a little cafe we found on the way there.

Swim-up bar dreams were crushed.

WHERE: San Juan, Puerto Rico

WHY: Spring Break

MEMORIES:
-We got really, really burned.  It was pretty bad.
-They were filming a Disney Channel movie with Selena Gomez at our hotel, thus closing off part of the pool that included the swim-up bar.  It actually became an annoyance.
-Visiting Old San Juan - some pretty buildings.
-Visiting the rainforest.  We saw some other people filming a movie with Johnny Depp.

It got a little bit cold...but those hammocks were nice!
